The outside of a building is known as facade. It is the largest space to renovate or decorate in your home and the first impression your guests and neighbors will get of your home. As the saying goes, “you never get a second chance at a first impression”.
Given the considerable space for décor in a facade, this is where you will be able to experiment the most with colors and textures. Some of this year’s design trends dare us to mix materials or use colors to create dimension and volume in buildings.
Consider the following reason to renovate your house’s facade:
Give your guests a small taste of what they will find inside your house: If your house’s interior design is in a traditional style, choose ceramics with a rustic style or bricks for your facade; if you chose a modern style, pick minimalist ceramics. This will let you create a complete design experience.
Accentuate your entrance: By using tiles with contrasting textures or designs, you can highlight your front door and turn it into a welcoming sight for guests while giving the room a feeling of coziness.
